So the girls have been playing with the camera again. Apparently they have been very into making movies lately. But sometimes there are things that you should not let your mother see. This counts as one of them, especially if your mom is of the gum-detesting variety:

Brynn's Movie
I was downloading pictures and found this little gem. I guess Brynn got a hold of the camera when I wasn't paying attention and made this little movie. I think it pretty much speaks for itself. Hope you enjoy!

Claire Bear's Hair is Everywhere Part III
Uncle Bart and Aunt Katie came to visit a while back. They live in Philadelphia. They also know that having 3 little girls in our house means we are very into hair. What is cute, what is stylish, what are the latest trends in hair fashion. With that in mind, they brought us a present. These little flower barrettes are the latest craze in Philly. But you have to wear them a certain way. So without further ado, I give you Claire, Urban Baby.
I know, I know, someday Claire is going to look back on these pictures, and this picture, and the above pictures and just ask, "Why, Mom, why?" And I will say one thing to her, "Because I can, Baby, because I can!"
Thank you Bart and Katie for the fun gift. We are using them lots, although maybe not quite in the urban style. Thank you also for providing a morning full of fun for me. I can't say Claire was thrilled about the whole thing but I definitely was!

Syd's Baptism Day
Sydney was baptized and confirmed on Saturday. It really was a perfect day. Almost every member of our extended family was here. Grandpa Dave, Uncle Jake, and Uncle Bart gave talks at the baptism. They were all very good. There was even a story about Syd and a dead gopher in there.
Syd was baptized and confirmed by her Daddy. I really think baptisms are one of the neatest things to be a part of. Maybe it is because it is the first ordinance we take part in, maybe it's because it's so simple, or maybe it's because the kids are so pure, but it's always very cool.
It was great to spend lots of time with family and a huge thank you goes out to all those who traveled (some very long distances) to be with Syd on her special day. I find my little girl quite amazing.

June 28- July 4
Okay, so we have had a TON going on lately. Thus, the many, many scrapbook pages. I don't really expect you all to look at all of them. I am a little overwhelmed at all of them myself. So here are some of the highlights (including the post below this one):
Shawn took the girls to Bear Lake for 2 days. I stayed home and had "alone time". I'm not gonna lie, I loved every minute of it. Thanks Shawn!
The girls have been in swimming lessons and are turning into great little swimmers. We have a two-week break them will do another session.
Syd and Brynn both had birthdays. Syd turned 8, Brynn turned 6. There were many parties and cake and presents and I think a good time was had by all.
Shawn went to Scout camp and had a good time. We missed him, but had fun doing girly things while he was gone.
We spent the July 4th weekend doing fun things with families. We watched the fireworks with all the Anderson and the next night had a barbecue with my parents.
This coming weekend is Syd's baptism. We are looking forward to spending time with family and to Syd's big day. I sat with her through her interview with the bishop. I have to tell you all I was very impressed with my baby. What a great kid I have.
Hope you all are having a great summer! Now leave a comment and tell me what you are up to.
